This scheme was launched on September 11, 2020, and is planning on providing Asara to more than 90 lakh needy women of the Self Help Groups or DWCRA groups. Under this scheme, the government will clear the pending loans of women who have taken SHG loans. The government of AP has released Rs.27,169 crores for the implementation of this scheme in the next 4 years. A total of 9,33,180 Self-Help Groups with more than 90 lakh members will get benefits.
